From an early age, I loved words. Mostly, though, I loved saying them and hearing them far more than reading them or writing them. When I wrote them, I usually forgot to dot my i's and cross my t's. When I read them, it was mostly mystery and action and comedy stories, usually handpicked by my mother. Luckily for me, she had great taste and an endless supply of suggestions.

I also have always loved numbers and math (though as a kid, it was mostly a desire to understand baseball statistics). Still, as you can see from this early example of my original verse... mixing math and poetry started young for me.
I guess you'd say that Fibs - the combination of the Fibonacci sequence and poetry - are just an outgrowth of childhood passions.

I still live in Los Angeles, now with a family and dog and everything. I still love writing and math. And the years, I'm happy to say, are still very, very fun.
